Theories Of Drunvalo Melchizadek And Jungian Biology Essay

In genetics, it is recognized that humans have 44 chromosomes (22 pairs), plus 2 "sex" chromosomes that determine gender. That's scientific fact. Here's where it gets difficult. Suppose one has more or less than 44? Indeed, it can happen; some hereditary disorders are induced by this. But what have an impact on could it have not only on our body, but on the human consciousness? From metaphysicist himself, Drunvalo Melchizadek:

There are three totally different kinds of humans on the Earth, meaning that they perceive the main one simple fact in three different ways, interpreted in a different way. The first kind of individual has a chromosome composition of 42+2. They comprise a unity awareness that will not see anything outside themselves as being different from themselves. To them, there is merely one energy - one life, one beingness that steps everywhere. Anything going on anywhere is at them, as well. These are like cells in the torso. All of them are connected to a single consciousness that steps through all of them. These are the aboriginals in Australia. There could be a few African tribes remaining such as this. Then, there exists our level, comprising 44+2 chromosomes. We are a disharmonic level of consciousness that is utilized as a steppingstone from the 42+2 level to the next level, 46+2. Our company is dangerous to both ourselves and aspect, but were necessaryThese two additional chromosomes change everything (Melchizedek).

In short, those lacking a set of chromosomes (in comparison to normal humans) perceive all certainty and being as you. This falls into line quite nicely with the spiritual values of the Aborigines specifically (however, it must be pointed out that no group of men and women today currently have got the essential 42 chromosomes). In metaphor, the truth is one huge landmass with no divisions, no individuals.

Those with the 44 chromosomes (in short, us), are unstable. Our level of evolution is merely a building block to 46. We have individual lives, however now fail to ever before come together. In essence, each reality is a totally isolated island from one another. Building from this, maybe it's reasoned that our pain, hurting, ignorance, apathy and standard bad attributes stem from our chromosomal imbalance. Therefore, the only path to truly clear ourselves of the is by moving on.

Finally, to 46; the next step in human development. According to Melchizadek's ideas, it reaches this point that we come together as specific to make one, each different, but unified. In his words again:

The main change will be a shift to the "unity consciousness". Every cell in your body has its consciousness and ram. You, the bigger being that occupies your body, make the an incredible number of different consciousnesses within you work together as one being. How does this relate with this [new advancement]? Think of yourself as a cell and the grid as the bigger being. We will still have individual consciousness, but will be united in the form of an increased being to be able to are one entity (Melchizedek).

In the point of view of the Religious religion, maybe it's viewed as a step towards becoming more God or Christ like; individual pieces creating a whole, not definately not the "Body of Christ" perception. As "all-in-one, " we would achieve universal understanding. There would be no pain, no anguish, nor ignorance or apathy. To sketch another parallel, it might be quite similar to the Kingdom of God or Heaven.

Being said, how do we move from 44 to 46? In more standard terms, perhaps it is simpler to ask how exactly we can move from where we have been as imperfect humans to something beyond, something higher, the next phase. Here's where the lyrics of "Forty-Six & 2" and components of Jungian psychology enter into play.

At the center of Maynard's "Forty-Six & 2" lays the concept of "Change is coming through my shadow. " In Jungian psychology, the mind is broken down into many parts, like the anima/animus, the ego and the shadow.

In guys, the anima is several feminine features suppressed deep in to the subconscious. Likewise, the animus is the group of masculine qualities suppressed in the unconscious of females. Though not consciously present, the anima and animus impact our action in powerful ways. Commonly, we seek out or job those features out onto other of the opposite sex. This makes up about the sensation of "falling in love initially sight. " Though we might hardly know the person, our subconscious has learned what they represent. As the opposite of the mindful self, the anima/animus can act as a guide to your own subconscious. They are often portrayed as the guiding feminine (if you are male) or male (if you're female) figures in our dreams. In short, our unconscious egos (the anima/animus), are attributes we desire in the contrary sex we ourselves suppress.

Conversely, the ego is our conscious mind, our sense of personal do it yourself. This sense of personal identification is purchased, however, at the expense of certain tendencies that are declined as 'not-self'. These declined traits come together as some sort of unconscious 'counter-ego, ' termed the shadow.

Unexplainable thoughts of annoyance, anxiousness or even anger can be a result of being in contact with someone who owns components of our repressed selves. In dreams, out shadow might take a physical form, often as an adversary of the same gender. Of all the elements that define our psyche, the shadow gets the potential to be both most dangerous and the most significant to your personal improvements. It represents everything we most fear and despise, but also presents everything we must master to move forward.

Maynard's suggestion for moving from our level to the next is by embracing the shadow. By taking in the previously rejected areas of ourselves (the "not-self") and learning to live with them (it), we have a great step towards making ourselves complete again. "Do what it takes to go through, " to "lie, " "cry, " "die, " and "kill" but also to "move, " "grow" also to "learn" are key.

Deep principles and MODERN theories are nothing at all new for Maynard and Tool. With monitor game titles like "Stinkfist, " "Pushit, " "Third Vision, " "Schism" and "Parabola, " Tool hasn't been, nor attempted to be, a strap easily comprehended from the surface. Their tune lyrics, stage shows and even album artwork all reveal this. The cover to the record Aenima, that the music "Forty-Six & 2" is taken, even follows a few of the themes or templates from the aforementioned song. Initially all one notices is the burst of white light at the center. Closer inspection shows some out of focus eyes ringing the light. In typical Tool fashion, they've said just what they've wished to say without seeming to have said anything coherent at all. Think outside the box (basically). Sure, we can all see or understand out personal shadows to some extent (hence the shadowy, out of focus eye). What lays beyond them, though, no one truly understands. It's a surprising rvelation so blindingly bright there's no viewing through it, nor any making back. Those ready to think for themselves (a motto of delicate for the music group), will dsicover the record cover, available the CD and find out things they may never really had known before. With success, they'll never be quite the same for it.

Our shadows are primary, almost primal. Only by looking within, to "listen to my muscle recollection" and reflect on why is us "us" can we find our way to the other area. By "picking scabs" and metaphorically uncovering old wounds we can confront everything we previously rejected and avoided. We can step "in to the shadow" and find new understanding on the other side.

Appendix A

Written by Maynard James Keenan of Tool

My shadow's

shedding epidermis and

I've been picking

Scabs again.

I'm down

Digging through

My old muscles

Looking for a hint.

I've been crawling on my belly

Clearing out what could've been.

I've been wallowing in my own confused

And insecure delusions

For a piece to cross me over

Or a word to guide me in.

I wanna feel the changes decreasing.

I wanna know what I've been concealing in

My shadow.

Change is coming through my shadow.

My shadow's dropping skin

I've been picking

My scabs again.

I've been crawling on my belly

Clearing out what could've been.

I've been wallowing in my own chaotic

And insecure delusions.

I wanna feel the change ingest me,

Feel the exterior submiting.

I wanna feel the metamorphosis and

Cleansing I've endured within

My shadow

Change is coming.

Now is my time.

Listen to my muscle memory.

Contemplate what I've been clinging to.

Forty-six and two before me.

I choose to live on and to

Grow, take and present and to

Move, learn and love and to

Cry, destroy and expire and to

Be paranoid and to

Lie, hate and dread and to

Do what must be done to go through.

I choose to live on and to

Lie, kill and present and to

Die, learn and love and to

Do what it takes to step through.

See my shadow changing,

Stretching up and over me.

Soften this old armor.

Hoping I could clear the way

By stepping through my shadow,

Coming out the other part.

Step into the shadow.

Forty six and two are just ahead of me.
