Using Studybay is really simple.

1. Sign up

   Create an account. You can do it on our homepage. All we need is your email address.

   
2. Create a project

   Now, when you're on your profile, click “Create a Project” to start a new project.

   

   Tell us about what needs to be done — make sure your requirements are clear, and instructions are complete. Enter all the relevant information about your project. It will help experts set fair prices right away, and you'll be able to find the best expert sooner.

   If there's some extra information, like a reference that needs to be taken into account, upload it by clicking 'Attach'. Don't share any personal information through this file — it would be considered a violation of our Terms and Conditions and may lead to your account's permanent blocking.

   You can set your deadline on this page as well.

   

   When you're done filling out your project, press 'Create' to submit your project. Now it will be displayed to experts, and they will place their bids on it.


   Don't worry if you forgot to mention something important in your instructions. Click “Edit Details” on your project's page to add/change your project requirements.

   
3. Choose an expert

   When you're ready to hire someone, click Hire This Expert next to an expert of your choice. Feel free to chat with every expert before making a decision — this may help you make sure that the expert understands your requirements correctly and is capable of helping you with your project.

   

   Once you choose an expert that fits your project, you are redirected to the checkout page. Choose your payment option: one-time payment or partial payment.

   

   The one-time payment is just a one-time full payment with only a service fee added. Service fee is a percentage-based commission we add to all payments. You can learn more about this fee here: /info/license/

   The partial payment is a payment split into two transactions: 30% and 70% payments, respectively. Additionally, there's a 10% fee added for using this payment option, along with the usual service fee. This option suits long-term projects best. Keep in mind that in this case the final file for your project can only be downloaded after the second transaction is completed.

   Now choose any payment method that fits you, fill out the payment details, and get ready to get your project done!

Sometimes payments don't go through. There are several reasons why this can happen, but there's only one solution to the problem.

Since our bank is located in Europe, every transaction of yours is considered international. Policies on such payments vary from bank to bank. So the easiest way to solve this problem is just to contact your bank and ask them to authorize international payments. That's it. Also, sometimes banks take your funds and put them on hold without processing the transaction and sending money to us. In such a case, just ask your bank to cancel the pending transaction.

Bonus funds are a virtual currency with no monetary value outside of our platform. You can use bonus funds (aka bonuses) for a discount.

You can pay up to 50% of your project's total price using bonuses. So it is not possible to pay for a project using only your bonus funds. Also, you can't withdraw bonus funds from your account or use them for partial payment.

Your bonus funds will be taken into account automatically at the checkout if you choose one-time payment.

There are two ways to receive bonuses: using a promo code, inviting a friend.

Yes, you can, and there are several ways to do it. First of all, check the status of your project. You can only get a refund if the status of your project is Under Warranty.

   As soon as you click it, the canceling request is sent to your expert. When your expert accepts this request, your project will be returned to the auction, and the funds will be transferred back to your Studybay account. Please mind, the project will be canceled only by mutual agreement. Canceling is available only if there is still more than 50% of the estimated time left before the deadline,
and your expert hasn't uploaded the final file.

2. Even if your expert has already uploaded some files or there is less than 50% of the estimated time left before the deadline, you still have a chance to cancel a project.

   First of all, notify your expert about your decision. Your expert will then upload an empty document as the final file, and the Request A Refund button will appear on your project page. Submit a request, stating "Mutual agreement" as a reason for the refund. We will review your request within one business day, you'll be notified about our decision by your email and your project page.

   Your expert can also accept your request themself. In that case, you two can issue a refund without even getting help from the Studybay team. Once your expert agrees on the terms of your refund, you need to confirm your request once again on your project page. Click Confirm to issue your refund right away.

First of all, check the status of your project. You can only request a refund for your project while it is “Under Warranty”.

Your warranty starts once your expert uploads the final file for your project and lasts for 20 days by default. If your project is still in progress or has already been completed, you wouldn't be able to request a refund, though in the first case all you need to do is to wait until your expert uploads the final file. So, if the status of your project says “Under Warranty”, just go to the project page — there you'll see the button that will help you request a refund.

Now fill out a form and explain what exactly turned out dissatisfying about this project and which parts of your instructions weren't taken into account by your expert. If you have any actual proof of the poor quality of the final file provided by the expert, such as your grading sheet or your professor's commentary, attach it to your refund request.

We will review your request within three business days and make our decision on it. You'll be notified about this decision by email and your project page as soon as the decision is made. Even if your refund request was declined, we would provide the reason why the refund can't be issued. Of course, you can submit your request again, just make sure you are doing it only after you've read our commentary on your previous request with all your attention.

It's easy. Go to your “Balance” page and create a withdrawal request.

Once you are on the “Balance page”, click the link “Withdraw Funds”. If you are using Studybay on a mobile phone, you might need to switch to the full version of the site to see this option. On the next page, enter the amount of money you want to withdraw, then select a payment method that fits you, and provide your payment information. Then click “Create an Application”.

Normally it takes about three business days to process your withdrawal. You can see the approximate date of completing your withdrawal on your “Balance page”.

You can't and shouldn't contact Studybay experts outside of the platform. Sharing any personal information, including but not limited to contact information, goes against our Terms and Conditions and therefore may result in permanently blocking you from the platform. We take any personal data very seriously and we do it for the safety of our users.

However, our support team is always here for you, ready to help you contact your expert. Our support team can reach out to the expert, making them know you're worried.

Mind that expert being online doesn't actually mean they are sitting at their computer right now. So, please, wait for at least 15 minutes before asking our support team to notify the expert about your expert not responding.

There are several reasons why the system's not allowing you to log in, but let's start with the browser. Make sure you are using Google Chrome or Firefox because Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer don't function well while using Studybay.

If you can't log in because you've forgotten your password, use a verification code sent to your email. You can request this code while logging in.

If your logging in problem still occurs, try to reset cache and cookies (Ctrl+F5 for Windows and CMD+R for Apple). If none of the above has helped you, please, contact our support team.

Thankfully, you can invite any expert to your project, including the one that you've been cooperating with on your previous projects. You just need to know their username or be able to find them on the list of experts.

You may simply go to the 'Create a project' tab and hit 'Invite an expert'

You may search for the expert by their name. This form will invite this expert to a new project that you’ve just created - simple as that.

Please, mind that you can't hire an expert right away without going through the auction stage. Even if you need one specific expert, and you have sent them an invitation, your project still has to go through the auction stage.
