Some are written for narration purposes while others are used to persuade the target audience. The objective should be accompanied by the target audience to form the rhetoric situation which entails the ethos, pathos, and logos rhetoric appeals. Understanding the structure of genres is critical in determining the actual meaning of a given gene. I believe using and understanding the purpose, audience, and rhetorical appeals of a given genre help in appreciating how the work is created. The article surpasses my understanding of the three rhetorical appeals which include the ethos, pathos, and logos. The various kinds of media used by genres include the print, digital, and face-to-face. The article also focused on the elements of the genre such as style, design, and sources.
