Overall, concerning the prevalence of obesity, Georgia is ranked twentieth among other US states. As of 2016, the rate of obesity according to the Centers of Disease Control,the incidence of obesity was at 30% Moreover, obesity is a substantial health challenge in America considering that about one in five adults in the country is obese. Background Childhood obesity has developed into an epidemic in the United States and affects both the mental and psychiatric health of the children involved (Kubik,Story & Davey, 2007). There are many concepts that are already suggested as an explanation for obesity. Nonetheless, the development of obesity in children is poorly understood and deserves more research. The 5-15 age group consists of school going children who can be accessed at their learning institutions, sports centers, and religious institutions.
