The research will focus on answering the following question: Is whistle-blowing an ethical practice? The event of whistle-blowing can occur from two dimensions – internal whistle-blowing and external whistle-blowing. During the former scenario an employee or a business stakeholder raises alarm regarding the misconduct of the reporter's seniors or officers holding ranks within the same organization. During the last dimension the stakeholder reports the fault to a third party maybe the government or any other legal bodies who is not an affiliate of the organization. The research will deploy practical consideration of three primary ethics theories – deontology utilitarianism and virtue theories (Rothlin & Mccann 2016).
