Roles and responsibilities of the teacher and paraeducator Both the teacher and paraeducator shall assist each other in classroom learning activities and help students achieve success The teacher and paraeducator shall work with students with disruptive behaviors during learning They shall provide specialized and personal care for students with special needs Paraeducators shall assist in social integration, especially for students with special needs The paraeducator shall help with supervisory roles and any other relevant roles in the learning environment.

The paraeducator shall ensure the physical and emotional health of students is up to date while also affirming their different abilities The teacher and paraeducator shall help with overall consultations during the learning process. Outline of training for paraeducator Training for any professional help in acquainting them with necessary skills relevant for the nature of work they are set to do. It may also be a guideline to meeting the organizational goals and objectives that if not adhered to, may distort the meaning of the initial plan. Even though they may also embrace instructional tasks, teachers have a bigger share in planning and managing the learning process and environment through planning the right curriculum delivery and collaboration with the right stakeholders.

Paraeducators remain important collaborators with teachers in the learning process as they take care of all the needs of students with special needs and ensure that they are in the best shape possible to engage in learning activities. Thus, exposing them to training does not only improve their professional prowess but also adds quality to education services they add to needy children across various communities. Recommended Steps for evaluating student progress There are various methods I would employ to assess the development of learners in terms of acquisition of cognitive skills. Both the summative and formative methods of evaluation would be applicable. From the data collected, I would be able to come up with the strength, weaknesses, and trends of the evaluation plan.
