Among the major vices you reveal are discrimination and/ or separation, injustices as well as violence. All these acts are vices that have overtaken our world today and need to be stopped. Unless someone stands up as you did, then our world will become worse than it was when you wrote the letter. Your words were so strong that even though you were imprisoned in Birmingham, they still echo very far and wide beyond the prison bars many years after your death. Reading through the letter, as a student, I became amazed at how people could not see the essence and weight of the words contained in the letter and sum up courage to imprison you. 4) as discrimination is against the Christian values. It is unethical and morally wrong to discriminate against people based on their color. In addition, hiding under the cover of the law with the intent of committing injustices is inhuman. The injustice was clear after you were imprisoned for protesting peacefully during the nonviolent demonstrations against the criticisms and injustices that the blacks faced. Some people act in a violent manner in response to suppression and violation of their rights. I believe that people enjoying equal rights is a essential for a better society. The manner in which you address this issue gives me inspiration. Even though you feel you’re unjustly treated, your actions and opinions for getting better lives is nonviolent.
