The researcher looked at three different ratings of the presentation; difficulty, usefulness, and importance to determine if there is a difference in the modes of presentation. In particular, the researcher was interested in whether the interactive website is superior because that is the most cost-effective way of delivering the information. The study was hence guided by the following hypothesis: Null hypothesis: There is no significant difference between the source of information and the rations. Research hypothesis: Information from online website significantly rates better than other sources of information. The researcher is interested in whether the interactive website is superior because that is the most cost-effective way of delivering the information hence the most appropriate test is the MANOVA test. 27 hence we conclude that the dataset has no outliers.

Linearity of dependent variables MANOVA assumes linearity of the dependent variables. The scatter plots below are used to check if the assumption is violated. From the figure above, we can see an elliptical pattern indicating that the dependent variables are linearly related. Hence the assumption of linearity is not violated. Descriptive statistics From the descriptive statistics table above, we can see that for Usefulness, information from the practitioner had the highest mean. For the Difficulty, information from the practitioner had the highest mean while on importance, information from online website had the highest mean. The Box’s test of equality of covariance indicates that the observed covariance matrices of the dependent variables are equal across groups since the sig <0. Hence, the assumption is not violated.
