To begin with, it is important to note that market penetration strategy involves focusing on selling the products or services in existence in with the mission of gaining a higher market share. Marketers use the market penetration analysis to gauge the performance of products and services. If KFC were to gain a more penetrative impact in the market, then it must employ several techniques. The first way is through price adjustments where at times the company lowers its prices to make more sales a certain geographical area in the market. However, this should be done with much caution as overdoing it may make the business flop. In some situations, market development involves giving rewards to clients while opening new outlets to increase their population (Pappas, 2016).

The number of organizations in any given population depends on a number of reasons that could lead to business prosperity. The higher the probability of success in the identified market potential, the more the number of the organization. The latter is true since no one wants to venture into a business that would fail in the long run.
