Qualities of a successful leader in nursing In nursing, leadership is a key ingredient for the formation of a rigid nursing body in a hospital setting. It allows acute policymaking criteria which blend with the conventional caring skills based on compassion Integrity For a leader to become successful in their endeavors, they need to manifest the quality of being honest. Without this quality, the degree of success in their organization is highly questionable. Concerning the inflexibility of the roles of nurses, a manager should be able to organize themselves in the workplace. Nurses work on complex shifts each with the consent that they may be needed at work at any time. The leadership style I would like to emulate is the transformational leadership style.
