Machiavelli on Art Essay

Machiavelli had much focused on the military when coming up with the art of war. He developed many themes, issues, ideas and also proposals on how the military could be improved. His art aimed also on improving the firearms and cavalry. Machiavelli expresses how art is important to either the country and the military itself. He went ahead to develop a philosophy of limited warfare which he aimed to use if the diplomacy failed, he took it as an extension of politics. He went ahead to revoke other countries such as the Romans for locating their stability on the citizen-militia. He also goes ahead to criticize the professional soldiers for the lack of peace and stability. Machiavelli used the art of war to compare the political works and military work directly.
