It is essential for an organization to choose which information is important to them and for how long they can keep such information. Other factors to consider include how and where the information should be stored and also which ways would be used to access the information. This, in big data, would be helpful as it would guide in activities such as the optimization of the network infrastructure, leveraging the new data and the traditional mining toolsets, or improving the processes of the structure of the organization in order to be in line with the process of decision making. Security is also a concern. It is the nature of big data, which is unstructured, to make it vulnerable to the security breaches than the corporate information that is generated by the applications that are usual to many organizations.
