Reproduction is as old as mankind, and it is one of the things that was held with extreme care and diligence. In the contemporary societies, human beings have adopted some methods of controlling reproduction. These birth control methods have also been developed to ensure that the society can produce and give broth to populations that can be adequately and comfortably sustained by the existing resources. The purpose of this paper will be to analyze different views on the birth control, methods commonly used, ethical framework and the psychological theory in understanding birth control Scholarly Findings on Birth Control Birth control has been one of the most debated topics in the modern world(Kelly, 2014). It directly affects the sexuality and sex life of many people in the society as these methods are directly related to the sexuality of the people.

According to Kelly (2014), some religions have even been quoted urging their followers to desist from this idea as it is seen to be satanic and ungodly. Common Methods of Birth Control Birth control has dramatically evolved in the modern world. Despite some setbacks in the application and utilization of birth control methods, it has realized immense support across the world. Currently, there are various birth control methods in the world, and most of them have evolved with the various developments in the field of information technology. Some of the conventional techniques are analyzed below:’ Condoms are one of the most used birth control methods globally. Honest is key in teaching the people on different birth control methods and the side effects of each process.

Informed consent is also another ethical framework that needs to be inculcated in the general topic of birth control. A person should have prior knowledge on the birth control methods, the consequences and the purpose of the general procedure. This will help one make well-informed choices and decisions without any regrets after that. In this way, the person who wants to apply a specific birth control method can make informed decisions (Kelly, 2014). Birth control was developed sometimes back and was then applied by a few people. However, due to the influence of media and the success of other people who have employed these methods have gained widespread attention in the world. People in any society adopt things which they deem beneficial to them and the community at large as explained in the social cognitive theory.
