Public Speaking Essay

According to the US constitution, speech can be a source of power and voice to the powerless and voiceless. The eloquence of some late revolutionaries such as Martin Luther King has helped to shape the history of US and also played a major role in fight and struggle for civil rights. Public speaking skills and eloquence have also been used by politicians as a key booster in their political race. Apart from politics, there are other fields in which public speaking skills can be very useful such as public relations, law, and marketing. Learning to be a good public speaker gives one the ability to distribute ideas and knowledge fluently and clearly. This may cause poor academic performance or to some extent dropping of subjects by students.
