As of the 1980s behaviorism was the main study area in psychology. Psychologists built their ideas from the Kuhn's initial findings. Some of the known ideas include; the mind is a complicated system of interconnected parts the mind cannot be blank since if it were blank it wouldn't do anything. Behaviorists argued that an infinite array of behaviors can be caused by predetermined combinatorial programs in the mind. According to Kuhn cognitive revolution is a matter of shifting paradigms and as a science it is subject to time of agreement on the topic and methodologies. He referred this as "normal science” tenure since it ends when the discipline meets phenomenon anomalous to the theory. His ideas have been used to restructure psychology over the years. Other factors can influence traits and diseases what is comforting is that on average about 50 percent of individual differences are genetic and 50 percent are environmental" (George 142).
