There are several strategic issues identified in the Panera bread management case study. The key issue that has to be addressed is internal strengths in the company. The company is in the growth stage and thus can gain a lot of competitive advantage by focusing on its internal capabilities to develop customer loyalty. The company needs to build its customer base and create strong brand loyalty. This is an issue that has not been addressed based on the fact that the company is struggling with the issue of low customer loyalty.
