Young people have embraced behaviors that make them easily offended and while in groups, they tend to act from peer pressure and may end up committing crimes. Participation in illegal behaviors and illegal activities has resulted in the young people spending time in juvenile. In some cases, the young people tend to follow the current trend of increased rate of crimes and this has affected their way of handling life. The US government, for instance, has faced the challenge because of an increased number of young criminals who have to spend a large percentage of their time in the juvenile which means that they do not carry on their lives like the others. When handling juvenile delinquency cases, it is important to understand the factors or forces that pushed the young people to commit crimes because they are influenced by different factors.

The parents never thought that it would turn out as a crime which brought Eunice's life to an end. According to the arrest warrant, Calhoun and Eunice were playfully arguing and this would have contributed to the decision which the boy made to shoot her. Some of the factors that would have contributed to the shooting included personal and social factors which influenced the boy (Eastman, 107). In most cases, boys want to feel superior to the girls a reason why they deny them equal rights and opportunities. Psychological factors would also have contributed to the shooting since after he shot Eunice, he fled from the house and in the court, he could not hold his tears for what he had done.

In this case, he felt powerful and on top of every other person in the room (Hay, 321). He knew that he had gained control over them and he could do all he wanted such as ordering them while holding the gun on their faces. It is clear that Calhoun had personal conflicts which he failed to handle a reason why he pushed them to other people leading to a shooting that later resulted in the death of Eunice. The conflict theory also states that when people have disagreements on certain issues and where not every person becomes satisfied, they tend to look for a way through which they can take away their psychological stress. Based on the theory, when people do not get their expectations in life, they tend to blame others and would do harm to them.
