The weight tied on the heath care systems requires them to ensure that they remain focused on their goals and objectives. In this regard, performance management ought to be accorded attention in order to ensure that the health care organizations abide to their goals and objectives. This paper highlights some of the key aspects in health care services in regard to performance management. Organizational Goals The goals for our organization include: i. Delivery of indiscriminate health care to all clients. The basis of health care is to provide service without looking at a client’s background in terms of race, class, language, culture or practices.

In this regard therefore, the organization should strive to offer indiscriminate health services. ii. Maintaining health care ethical codes as espoused in the healthcare code of ethics. One of the most critical performance measures is team work participation. Mitchel et al (2012) postulate that health practitioner participation in a team facilitates quality health care services across clients. Health officers working together improves much on success quotients. Leadership is also a critical factor in performance management and as a performance measure, it forms one of the weightiest elements. in the process of performance measure, leadership helps in the designing and deployment of the most effective performance measurement systems.
