Running Head: Global Warming Global Warming Name Institution Global Warming Numerous and diverse explanations have emerged over time with regard to the concept of global warming. Some have termed the phenomenon as a hoax while scientists persistently validate the existence of the occurrence using scientific data obtained from the environment over time. However ideally global warming refers to the persistent rise in global atmospheric and surface temperatures. The persistent rise in temperature has dilapidating consequences not only to the environment but also to the existence of all forms of life on the surface of the earth. Global warming has facilitated desertification melting of polar ice caps and rise in temperature in oceans among other effects which destabilizes the ecological balance globally. The objective of this paper is to give an in-depth discussion on the subject matter the causes effects and the interventions put in place at the global and individual temperature is relatively small the cumulative impact of the rise is catastrophic. Besides even the slightest change in global atmospheric temperatures can trigger a cascade of severe adverse events which are life threatening. Numerous and diverse causes both natural and manmade have been associated with global warming. However man's activities are to blame for global warming. References Denchak M. (2016).
