However, the student cannot be able to perform well unless a little challenge is implicated. One of the reasons that students tend to complete their courses yet they have not fully qualified, is due to the lack of qualified teachers enough resources but due to luck standardized testing. When a student fails to have standardized testing, neither the teachers nor the parents or students themselves will be able to identify their weakness. This proves why there is a need for standardized exams as a personal assessment of the students (Moser,2015). Actually, the test can be used a measure of students’ progress in school. The administrations should focus on ensuring that they give the best and fair tests than discouraging the tests yet they are the ones failing in providing the best services.

Standardized tests are comprehensive and better as they ensure that it is discriminatory, that is, all the exams contain the same questions that are equivalent to every student thus ensuring that there are no biases at all. Setting different exams for different students would end up being unfair to some of the students. The tests might end up favoring one side and disappointing the other. Therefore, to avoid such cases, there is a need for having the standardized exams as they are usually fair. However, the exams do not lower the academics rather they just focus on the basic skills that the student needs to master. Many of the parents get to trace a change while the children undergoing the standardized exams.

This is because the students get to focus on studying and therefore creating more time with books and improving the academic knowledge. Testing cannot be described as exhausting the mind of the students but as a way of jogging the mind (Belasco, 2015). Students who get to panic during the exam are usually the students who have not read and therefore have a worry that they are going to fail. The students cannot be advantageous of knowing how a certain teacher applies or sets the questions. Therefore, having the standardized questions is very important as the students get to meet the same questions but asked in a different tone and a bit of changed language. Also, the standardized tests help in ensuring that there is a social promotion practice that allows the students to advance from one grade to another.
