Others argue that women should not inherit anything from parents since they will get married. People do reason differently when it comes to the opinions concerning women. The recent argument is whether women are equal to men. Girls and women have been given limited chances for their education. However, there arises a question whether women’s education is important to the developing country. Developing country status in the WTO has the benefit of acquisition of certain rights. (Cubillo, Leela, and Marie Brown P. ) For instance, the provisions in some WTO agreements which provide developing countries with longer transition durations before being required to implement the contract fully and the developing countries can receive technical assistance. A discussion based on one well known African proverb that says, ‘If you educate a boy child, you educate one person rather if you educate a girl child, you educate a family and a whole nation’ reached a conclusion that women play a vital role in the prosperity of a nation. They are the key players in nurturing future talents hence ensuring a stronger and well skilled labor force. Another study revealed that women who are well educated have a less likelihood of being prone to sexual harassment and sexual abuse. Hence, women have a big role in the community and by educating women you educate a future generation. United Nations Girl’s Education Initiative (UNGEI) in a 2005 report showed that there were several factors that deprived girls of their rightful place in chances of gaining secular education.

Children whose mothers have no education are more than twice as likely to be out of school as children whose mothers have some education. Thus educated mothers help their daughters make informed decisions in child bearing hence reduce infant mortality rate. It is noteworthy to know that many countries have made strategic effort to ensure women have access to education. Therefore, women’s education depends on the wealth of their family.
