State Mandated Nurse Patient Ratios Issue

The stipulations are clear on the appropriate ratios to be maintained between the nurses and patients. This is due to the fewer number of nurses that get worn out after attending to a higher number of patients for longer hours. The American Nurses Association (ANA 2015) wants the nursing sector to be reformed and legislation passed to ensure the efficiency of the nurse patient ratio (Keith 2017).
