My Political Philosophy
Numerous philosophers have written some writings that can shape the politics of an individual or the society we live. Examples of famous political philosophers include Malcolm X, Plato, Thomas Hobbes, John Rawls, Karl Marx, Martin Luther King Jr. and Marcus, among others. This paper focuses on Plato and his political views on the political arena in the society. Also, the political philosophy of Plato is analyzed. In his political opinion, Plato seems to dislike the state of the democracy in Athens City. In fact, he considers the Athens City as a "mob rule" democracy. He says so because the so-called Democratic government of Athens had executed Socrates. He also sees the government as a discriminative one because it prohibited women from voting.
