Different people have different leadership attributes, and different organizations will require specific types of leadership to run efficiently. Leadership is, therefore, a complex that features particular personal qualities which are described and interpreted in a particular manner (Winkler, I, 2010, 12). Leadership theories are therefore internalized concepts of particular leader qualities, leader behavior, as well as typical types of leadership, which can be used in the organizational setting. Effective leadership is therefore crucial to an organization because it will lead to growth as well as better organization and management of the organizational processes. Division of labor should be fixed and structured to ensure adequate performance of the organization on all aspects. One-Sided Top down Influence Another aspect of classical management is that it will often consist of a single top-down influence. In the classical management, the theory there is only one communication route within the organization. The decisions are usually made at top level of the organization and will usually be sent to the lower levels. In the organizational setting, the top down communication process is the most common form of communication. Managers will often make decisions which will be directed in the entire management system of the organization. In this type of management, it is believed that the workers are to be treated like machines and they should be strictly controlled. Authoritationan management of organizations consists of close control of the workforce as well as the motivation of individuals through the application of strict rules and regulations. It is often deployed in situations where control is essential, and there is little room for error. It can be used in situations where the staff are inexperienced and may require additional monitoring to perform efficiently. The scientific management theory is mainly focused on maximum productivity within the organizational setting. It offers a proper solution to problems as well as challenges within the organizational setting. The theory usually believes that scientific management is the solution to business problems that may face the organizational setting.
