Machiavelli was famous in poetry and playwriting. It was formally dedicated to Lorenzo de’ Medici and was an advice to the then ruler of Florence on how to stay in power. Apparently, it is believed to be the first work of philosophy especially political philosophy. On the other hand, Friedrich Nietzsche wrote “Morality as Anti-nature”, in the 19th century. He expressed his view on the morality that is taught by religions (Nietzsche 149). This compares man further to animal kingdom. The animal kingdom is characterized by the above traits. Nicole gives a reputation for the importance of agreements and trust. He further argues that the prince should eliminate his political friends after winning the war against his enemies in politics since these friends will have known many political secrets to turning against him.

This is a way to retaining power. This has given many scholars headache in trying to argue about this statement. Nietzsche was an atheist and his original idea was that God never existed. Although from our ideal, we view the issue as if there was a God in existence who later died. Machiavelli, on the other hand, does not write his hard emotional feeling towards Christianity and God. Secondly, Machiavelli advocate on the need to administering and acquiring some morals in politics and administration. He argues that morals are barriers to achieving goals because of the pretense of a false threat. Machiavelli is concerned in advising the prince on the modes of ruling and the ways to stay in power (Niccolo 482–491).
