Different companies choose to apply either of the strategies or sometimes they can two among the three. At the end of the day, the competitive scope of a company will determine the type of strategy it will embrace. Each of these strategies operates within specific intention in the market target. For example, a company that woos customers in every segment of the company on the premises of cost will be deemed to use cost leadership strategy. Whereas, the firm that woos customers in every segment of the company on the premises of focus will be said to employ focus strategy. E, 1985). Therefore, focused differentiation strategy will be well applied at the Mercedes Benz industry that aspires to serve those are rich.
