Muslims A Diverse Population Group

American Muslim organizations have also created awareness on issues such as political activism, social equality, and pluralism in relation to Muslim values and norms (Muslim Publication Affairs Council, 2003). Such organizations have also enhanced unity by showing people that building confidence, forgiveness, and harmony will increase unity and peaceful relations between the Muslims and the Americans. However, the diverse nature of the Muslim society has made them experience various challenges such as radicalism, civil liberties and war against terrorism. Language barrier The Muslim community is made up of different people who speak different languages and have different cultures. This has contributed immensely to varied opinions on current issues such as arguments and peacemaking. This has instilled the right behavior among Muslims and any person with bad behavior or ill intentions can be easily identified and punished before they engage in other harmful acts.

Some of the organizations have also joined hand with the American forces to fight and stop terrorist attacks in the country. Muslims have also engaged in peaceful protests to foster peace and unity in the country. Similarly, the organizations promote interfaith dialogue between the Islam and Muslim communities in order to eradicate violence and promote peace. Religious organizations such as Sunni and Shia are dedicated to educating other people about the religious practices of Muslims as well as improving the religious well-being of American Muslims (Carl & David, 2005). American Muslims became enemies with Islam and they become great friends with the Americans as a way of reducing suspicion of being terrorists. They helped Americans in identifying and eliminating terrorism by being members of their armies (Jane, 2012).

They also did this by acting as American spies regarding Iraq and Afghanistan war in relation to U. S foreign policies in those countries. This strategy built a strong trust between the American Muslims and Americans since they helped them in fighting terrorists in the country. This value is relevant to the Muslim population since the other groups such as Arabs and Africans are able to learn from the American Muslim about what a true Muslim is supposed to do and act. Justice American Muslims practice justice without favoring the Islam as being one of their own tribe. They collaborated with the Americans in fighting Islam and other terrorists and they acted as spies in providing American politicians with information regarding Iraq and Afghanistan.

They also took part in a peaceful protest to end terrorism (Kathleen, 2006). This value is relevant to the Muslim population since it teaches them to practice justice by not favoring one of their own.
