Mental illness is a form of behavior or type of suffering that inhibits one from functioning normally in his daily life. Mental illness may occur because of several factors which can be environmental biological psychological or genetical. A serious challenge can influence employees' performance which will lead an organization into experiencing failure. Most individuals identified to have mental illnesses experience problems of social exclusion and humiliation (Dixon Holoshitz & Nossel 2016). As such they find it a challenge to interact with their colleagues; thus amounting to poor relationships that influence motivation towards work. Their workmates display a negative attitude towards them such that they feel rejected and neglected. In light of this this paper presents a program Conclusion Mental sicknesses are great problems that influence attainment in an organization. They will lower the productivity of individual employees which will reflect in their overall performance in the organization. With the dynamic environment all organizations are obligated to help all workers to reinforce to support the determined goals and objectives to have a competitive edge. The program is critical as it offers an efficient method of improving the organization’s effectiveness by treating the employees’ mental illnesses. The ultimate outcome would be enhanced performance.
