The nationalism preserves the nation’s beliefs, religion, their political rules and their cultures. Nationalism promotes patriotism in a given country. Has been applied in many nations since the eighteenth century. Nationalism can either impact positively or negatively on the nation it is applied. Nationalism had different effects on the war both positive and negative. Cubism and jazz music was also introduced during this time. The literature was developed in that the writers to novels could write about the traumas of the war. There was a lost generation which believed that life had no meaning. The writers spoke against the flaws and the effects of the war. How nationalism set stage for the Great War The Great War was geared by the nationalism, imperialism, the great alliances and the militarism.
What qualifies world war one as total war A total war refers to a war that includes everyone in a given nation. The war impacts on everyone in the country. The world war wad considered a total war in that; the war involved all the civilians of the confrontational nation. The women were working in the factories as the men were in the fights.
