As a result workers are motivated to increase their commitments which may lead to stress and burnout. Continued commitment and devotion to achieve organizational goals may lead to further adverse effects like workers exhaustion. Exhaustion in employees results in withdrawal behaviors among the employees. For instance absenteeism and low employees turnover begin to be experienced in the organization which cause huge loses in the organization due to lost working days. Burnout develops gradually and motivational patterns significantly contribute to this process. In order to win employees commitment most organizations apply job satisfaction techniques through rewarding. Therefore there exists a relationship between employees’ job satisfaction burnout and commitment. future increase in job demands since dysfunctional of employees associated with their jobs may exaggerate their dedication (efforts) causing more severe exhaustion to them. This may in turn lead to more burnout hence poor performance of employees. The researchers recommended management to avoid overcommitment in order to fight against employee burnout and its effects (reduced performance and absenteeism). In addition management should seek other forms of job satisfaction like applying a fair reward system or providing feedback to employees or applying work engagement techniques to avoid overcommitment.
