Climate changes present unexpected and unwanted weather patterns that affect both plants and animals in the environment. Most of the climatic changes have resulted from activities on land which lead to pollution and land degradation. Global warming has also resulted from climatic changes that have taken place in different parts of the world. However, climate changes comprise many other effects apart from global warming which affects the lives of flora and fauna. Some of the weather patterns experienced today show changes from the normal because they range from one extreme to the other. W. & Nuccitelli, D. Climate change and society. Why the social sciences matter (pp. Palgrave Macmillan, London. The author argues that the society suffers from climate change which takes place in all parts of the world. Climate change has led to the extinction of some species in the world. The article presents information which shows the effects that climate change has on flora and fauna and how it affects the natural habitat. When the environment is affected negatively by climate, there is a high probability that extinction will take place and make it hard for some species to reproduce and increase in number.

The article presents important information on the need to conserve the environment and engage in activities that will not have a adverse impacts on the climate. , Arneth, A. & Neumann, K.
