Envisioning goals Every organization's success depends on goals that are specific, relevant and can attainable. As a leader, one has to have a vision by imagining a future when the organization has met its goals. An example of how I will attain this task is first of all by telling my group how it could be if they worked to their level best. Also, as they work to achieve it, I will celebrate with them in every success achieved, and lastly, I will ensure the goals I set promote a sense of unity and purpose among the employees as they strive to meet them.

Motivation As a leader, a significant thing one has to do is to motivate their employees and to do so one cannot create motivation. One has to seek existing motivation and channel it on the right path. So as a leader how would I do this? The first thing I would do is to ensure that I know the employees in and out, understand their fears and hopes, etc. After this I would ensure I meet the basic needs of employees like paying them on time, praising a job well done and so forth. Lastly, I will make sure to build their confidence in the organization. One significant barrier to achieving a workable unit is conflicts and misunderstandings and to overcome this I will put on place measures for avoiding disputes like full transparency and also measures for resolution.

Explaining As a leader, one is responsible for ensuring the vision of the organization is kept alive. To do this one has to describe to the members what the purpose is. An example of how I will do this within my organization is to set a specific date every month whereby we all meet to discuss issues, and I ensure that in every meeting I explain the purpose to the members. A significant barrier to this is when one cannot communicate well publicly. I will also make sure to relay any information I receive.
