Name: Professor: Course: Date: Racial Prejudice as per the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn Twain’s novel well analyses a discussion on race within the narrations in the book. The setting of the story happens to be in the slavery times where whites and blacks were not viewed as equal. Whites were considered to be superior to the blacks making the blacks undermined just due to the color of their skin. Blacks are regarded as less human and nothing more than slaves. Racism comes out evidently as a theme with extracts of a character Jim being racially discriminated. Jim appears as a slave but is a companion so loyal to Finn and brought up in a racially intolerant environment. The word “nigger” is used to refer to Jim and comes out as an elaborate example of racial discrimination. Huckleberry Finn the main character who is also the narrator goes through various in some countries as the problem of racial discrimination is a major issue which should be gotten rid of at the present times.
