History of solar energy Technologically solar energy is not new. Its history started from 7th century before Christ to date. It started with concentration of heat from the sun with mirrors and glasses to glow fire. In this timeline the milestone regarding the past development of the technology of solar was starting from 1767 to 1891. Horace de Saussure a scientist from Swiss was made consisting of building the first world’s solar receiver that was later utilized for food cooking by Sir John Herschel. During 1816, Robert Stirling was a church minister in Scotland and he was providing services till he attained sixty years of age. I his leisure time he constructed heat engines in a workshop in his home. His engine was afterwards utilized in dish system, a technology of solar thermal-electric that concentrated the sun rays thermal-energy to be able to make power (Stafford, 2000).

Its flights were from England ton France via the English route. In early 1992, Tis technology advanced by developing a 15. 9% productive a photovoltaic cell of slim-film consisting of cadmium telluride, overcoming the 15% limitation for the first tempo. By 2000 astronauts started fixing up solar panels in international Space location which was the biggest solar powered array ever put in space. To date buildings are constructed with a construction and design practices that is intact energy efficient with renewable power technology for a zero-net energy constructing. Utilization of this systems first crystalline silicon single-axis and solar tracking, though double axis tracking can be utilized instead. An important reason for a plant doing large-power utilizing HCPV is the importance of addition in the order of single modules.
