6 million deaths in the year 2018 (Stewart, 2018). The conference was beneficial to me since I learned about the effects of cancer on the human body and the different types of cancer and their various stages. Besides, after the conference, I would comfortably handle a person living with cancer in his/her early stages. Reducing the problem encountered by the people living with cancer would greatly help them. Problem Cancer is still a growing global problem. However, the most recommended medication, especially for those people who are at their early stages, is a combination surgery with chemotherapy or radiation therapy (Siegel, 2012). Besides, 30-50% of cancer burden may be reduced through early detection of cancer and avoiding risks factors and implementing the current evidence-based prevention strategies.
