Response to Erick and Michael Name Institution Date Response to Erick Hey Erick!!!!!!In your post I agree with you that determination charisma dedication and integrity are some of the characteristics that complement the underlying skills that a real estate practitioners have to poses in order to coordinate the different players to make real estate transaction successful and a reality. With this integrity is the most characteristic that stands out in real estate. This is because when dealing with real estate transactions buyers occasionally make bigger purchase take that report to a testing center with proof of completion of the minimum required training needed in order to register for an exam at a cost of $115.00. Upon passing the exam he or she ought to apply for a license and pay the $170.00 fee (Georgia Real Estate Commission 2018). Good work Michael!!!! Reference Edwards K. W. Order Description:

Respond to Eric--------- What characteristics assist you in the real estate field? To answer that question I believe we must first ask ourselves what characteristics make a good employee. When we are shopping or eating at a restaurant, or doing anything that requires us to interact with someone in the workforce, what makes that experience memorable? What stands out about our dealings with the employees of those businesses? Once you recognize the good and bad of your experience, then you can determine what characteristics stand out that make you want to revisit that business or experience that quality service again. For me, there are a few characteristics I look for: determination, dedication, and integrity. I think that determination gives people a drive to resolve the task at hand. Dedication has them doing that task to a higher standard (“anything in life worth doing, is worth overdoing”). Finally, integrity is doing the right thing when nobody's watching. Out of these characteristics, I find integrity to be the most important in real estate. When dealing with real estate, buyers are sometimes making the biggest purchase of their lives and at times using their entire life savings to acquire this purchase. This can be a very stressful time for a buyer, but it can ease that stress if the buyer can trust that the agent has their best interest at heart. A characteristic that comes to mind as standing out the least to me is charisma. Not everyone has a bubbly outgoing personality but that doesn’t diminish my trust that they can do the job and do it exceptionally. I think that Real Estate sales would be a good career choice for me because i’m a people person, and in my opinion I possess the characteristics that make for a good salesperson, determination, dedication, and integrity. In addition, I enjoy houses and property, the details and history of places, and seeing the potential that individuals have to make it a one of a kind place. In Georgia, earning a Real Estate License requires the individual to be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or its equivalence, complete 75 hours of approved real estate education, complete and pass a background check along with a lawful presence verification, and pass the Georgia salesperson licensing exam. Once you pass the examination, you have 12 months to apply for your license in Georgia.------------------------- Respond to Michael----Hello class,      The types of characteristics that will assist you in this field are life style enjoyment, being a self-starter, knowing who you are, being a hard worker, being a smart worker, being able to solve people problems, enjoy working with different types of people, being a good listener and being emotionally stable and mature. What also will help you in this field is knowing your product, knowing the products value, knowing the territory, being flexible and being able to persevere (Edwards, 2007).      The characteristic that stands out the most to me is working smart. It is an acquired skill that takes years and years of life to master because of the endless number of things that can be done other than work that is more enjoyable. Fun activities can be found everywhere and a person who has not learned to put their responsibilities as their highest priority can easily find themselves in massive debt and severely behind on things because of procrastination. Working smart will ensure that an individual completes all of their tasks and has time left over for fun.      The characteristic that stands out the least to me is the idea of embracing the serve at any time life style.  I have learned pretty profoundly that even in high intensity jobs, a stable, understandable set of hours can be constructed during which you make yourself available for work. Standard business hours are between 8am and 7pm respectively, and if you have to work outside this time frame it should only be a few times. I know there can be some odd hours in real estate but nothing that can’t be adjusted to ensure there is ample free time every day. The real estate sales career is definitely for me. I am a numbers-oriented person who would love to learn more about the real estate market and the complex calculations that can be involved with it at times and I would love to aid people in obtaining the perfect property for their and their family’s needs.          In order to obtain a license in the state of Georgia you must first obtain a Crime Information Center Report which will reveal if there are any reasons you should be barred from getting a license. You must then take that report to a testing center with proof of completion of the minimum required training needed in order to register for an exam. The cost of the exam is $115.00 After taking and passing the exam you must then apply for a license and pay the $170.00 fee. The test is offered every day twice a day at the designated testing centers located throughout the state. After receiving your license, you must complete 25 hours of continuing education in order to keep your license active (Georgia, 2018).   Works Cited Edwards, Kenneth W. 2007.
