In other words problems are bound to always arise whenever people are working in a group (Hersey et al. 2013). For this reason problems are considered to be a normal occurrence within a healthy group. There is however need to ensure that team problems are resolved in a prompt manner (Li et al. 2011). Failure to deal with problems as soon as they arise may damage of relationships between team members. It is worth noting that teams tend to form their own unique personalities that are evident in the manner in which they solve problems as well as their patterns of behavior (Hersey et al. 2013). There are four major team problem-solving modes. These include the interpersonal problem-solving mode organizational problem-solving mode routine There are four different team problem-solving modes. The appropriateness of a mode tends to depend on the problem at hand. In other words there is no single mode that can be appropriate for resolving all problems experienced within a team but rather the nature of the challenge dictates the problem-solving mode to be used (Hersey et al. 2013).
