Why is Sustainability Important

A sustainable business model is defined by a number of characteristics. It has to be successful commercially; it must be able to accommodate the future changes such as the rise in price and it must be a component of a sustainable society as it is impossible to have sustained business in an unsustainable economy. Today, businesses are using a sustainable business model to fit the one pillar of human interaction which is the economy to the gaps within the society which are the social issues. Social issues are a concern within the society which has led to the businesses to offer their support to help solve these issues. One of the reasons why it is important for a sustainable business model to solve these issues is that they inspire the community as it is an indication that private initiatives can be transformed to become a reality in dealing with the social issues.
