This study highlights certain issues and ethical implications to reflect in the integration of psychology and spirituality focusing on psychotherapy. The study will use the American Psychological Association code of ethics. Competence Professionals should get enough supervision and training to make sure that they offer modern and competent services if they wish to incorporate religion and spirituality into their professional work of psychology. Several particular recommendations have been offered by scholars concerning training to ensure competence in the integration of psychotherapy and spirituality among professionals. According to studies professionals should read the books and other quality publications that supervisor’s name (Kanoti 2013). Psychologists have the moral obligation to take sensible precautions and protect confidential information attained through or kept in any media considering that the scope and limits of confidentiality may be controlled by law or recognized by official rules scientific or professional relationship. Conclusively psychology and religious integration in psychotherapy may continue to evolve and develop in ways that are beneficial to psychotherapy clients.
