The book explains that at the beginning, the word is always aural and remains sound up to the last stage, meaning it is not possible to change words to any other category. Markedly, the history of what was initially termed as spoken words cannot be termed just like a chain of proceedings or a sequence of phenomena strung out in a neutral field of time.
