One thing to consider is the Wyndham is a corporate brand that is the parent of several individually branded hotel chains -- a PORTFOLIO of brands perse (e.g. Super8, etc.). This is important because each individual brand services a segment of the travel industry with different needs. Customer demographics would vary according to the individual brands.The template is a guideline to provide some structure for your case analysis. What you can find in the way of current information is great and can be used to supplement the information that is actually listed in the textbook. Realize up front that you won't be able to find ALL of the information, but the template points out the type of information that would be helpful to have. Certainly you can go to the corporate website and use the mission listed there. As this is a case analysis you will present an executive summary which actually pretty close to an abstract. It's not the same as an introduction the executive summary is the last part of the paper you will write and essentially summarizes key information (e.g. What are key strengths/weaknesses/threats/and opportunities found (not the entire list) but most important; type of competitive advantage the firm offers and strategic focus you recommend in light of you analysis; problem statement and strategic alternatives developed and recommended alternative going forward.
