Analysis of The Future of Humanity The Technology and Human Values 2018.2.10 The Future of Humanity (By Nick Bostrom) According to Nick Bostrom the future of humanity has not been vastly explored. Currently science fiction movies play along in predicting the future of human race but then none of them brings explicitly what to expect. Lots of studies have been done in various institutions to understand what the future of humanity will be completely. However no two bodies have come to a precise conclusion on what the future will be. In all the studies the human race is put at the center probably because humans are more intelligent and well-endowed with a complete understanding of their environment. The understanding adds to proper survival techniques. Nonetheless the future of humanity as a topic is rarely discussed in serious setups. In most cases the issue is left for idle speculation. In there will be no need to educate someone. In the case of Wall-E and Elysium human civilization failed to get to this scenario. Conclusion Post-humanity is understood uniquely by most scholars but the most important characteristic is the possibility of a very powerful human being with extreme use of robotics in a highly polluted environment. However most scholars agree that the powerful human being will be efficient in everything that he performs. In the case of Wall-E and Elysium humanity failed to arrive at the post-humanity scenario. Humanity under this two movies is stuck under the plateau scenario. This can be attributed to the act that human civilization in the two movies did not solve its technological and social organization complexity barriers. References Bostrom N. (2009).
