Student’s Name Instructor’s Name Course Title Date The Drug Industry and the Money Talks The documentary “Money Talks” is an excellent summary of how the drug industry would stoop at anything to express their products in a good light even when their “cures” are worse than useless and exceedingly expensive. This film unravels the dubious practices that leading drug companies use to make huge profits at the expense of the public's health. Through their numerous deceptive ads good-looking drug representatives who lure doctors with gifts drinks dinners and trips among other unscrupulous practices the drug companies make huge profits annually by selling to the public unnecessary unsafe and healthy leaving. For this reason even the patients have been made to believe that drugs are the solution to every health condition. which is not the case. It is high time the public got educated concerning these unseemly practices by the drug industry so as to facilitate programs directed towards stopping such unethical tactics and restoring the credibility of the pharmaceutical firms concerned with investing in meaningful innovations to get safe and affordable drugs for the public.
