Farmers may plan to move plants from one point to another with an aim of creating orchards or even parks. It is not strange technique because it was also practiced in early agriculture in Mesopotamia and Egypt (Oates, et. al, pg 127). Tree transplanting isn’t a simple and an obvious task. It is a procedural task which needs keen and crucial step by step movement. Also, you will make a firm decision on the kind of barrows and shovels you need to drill and scoop the soil around the tree. Then you go and make use of these measurements to dig hole where you will transplant your tree to. Make sure that the site where you are going to replant your tree has enough sunlight In addition, make sure that the hole dug is of the same size as the initial one- considering the size of tree’s stem and deepness of its roots (Watson, pg 12).

It can be very dangerous as well as frustrating when you realize that the drilled hole is smaller than the tree to be transplanted, after you up uprooted it. Now, here comes the third step which is the tough part. Keep it under moist conditions (Watson, pg 13). The fourth step is the process of replanting the already removed tree. It actually needs to be planted as soon as possible. The space around the tree has to be clear; no obstacles which may interfere with you or the plant itself. It is recommendable to use your bare hands when putting the tree inside the hole so that you can position the tree in a straight position. Later on you leave it to grow at its own (Weidner & Barry, pg 53).
