It is also worth noting that possession of guns has led to lengthy debates on whether that might be a major cause of mass shootings. As a result the government has set several rules to govern the people on the possession of firearms. The research finds that the world distribution of public mass shooters is attached to the cross-national differences in the availability of firearms and that it’s not associated with cross-national homicide rates. This in turn leads to the conclusion that nations with high firearm ownership rates (the United States inclusive) may be precisely prone to mass shootings in the future despite the fact that they are considered to be mentally healthy and peaceful. This article is useful to my research since it will provide some of the answers to why many mass shootings have been experienced lately.
