Student name Course Institution Date Ancient Rome and It’s Influence As it is known to most of us Ancient Rome was the city of Rome located at the center of Italy the entire Mediterranean basin and plenty of the West of Europe. The whole empire of Ancient Rome stretched from the North of England to the South of Egypt and from the coast of Atlantic to the Persian Gulf (Danilevskii et al. pg.78). During the early existence of this Romanian empire had influence from Etruscan civilization from the north. This civilization contributed a lot to the then cultural aspects of the Roman Empire. The culture of ancient Rome also had traits of Greek culture because of the rapidly expanding territories that later caused it to come into contact with the Greeks. Today there are several remains of a material culture that depict the political social religious and cultural aspects role of the religion shaped the behavior of the Roman among themselves as well as how they relate to their supernatural being. The aspect that is salient from the images is the cultural aspect of the Romans which depict the way of life of the Romans. One of the most notable aspects of the cultural values among the Romans was gender where men were given more power than women on matters pertaining the general welfare of the society. Lastly the politics is another feature that is conveyed by the images. The influence of political power is well demonstrated in most of the images that capture the Roman history.
