The contrast between the battle scene from the 1570 Hamzanama of Akbar and the Chinese battle shows two different levels of war. Visual elements such as weapons, clothing, posture, and expression symbolize the heat which is experienced at the battlefields. The picture from the “1570 Hamzanama of Akbar” is a form of Mughal painting which is confined to miniatures which are either in the form of a book or a single picture which is kept in albums for future references and as a way of keeping the history. Some men are lying on the ground as the opponents are running and stepping on them. One man is inscribed between the legs of another man in the bottom center. The attacking warriors are stepping on those ones who are lying down as a sign of humiliation and defeat.

One of the warriors is thrown up into the sky and two of his fellow warriors are trying to get hold of him so that he won’t fall. The scene is eye-catching given that it has a colorful background. The scene is colorful since it is painted using different colors which can be seen clearly. The texture of the scene seems rough which also depicts a scene of fierce war. However, the texture of the painting looks so smooth compared to that of “Hamzanama of Akbaris. ” This shows that the war scene being indicated is not fierce. The medium seems like it is painted using oil instead or water colors or paintings. While the two scenes depict different times and cultures, they both show how the war was seen as a culture in the past years.
