Content motivation deals with a view that concentrates on what we need and “what” motivates us. Process perspective of motivation is simply about the process of the motivation with “how” motivation occurred. This essay will be discussing two management theories: 'The Two Factor model by Frederick Herzberg and Maslow hierarchy theory. ' Introduction A good management theory can provide the rules for active practice which can increase the performance of managers and leaders leading to the successful development of companies or groups. Good employees play an essential role, and ways of ensuring the employees perform optimally is to motivate them. Maslow recommends teachers to create a supportive and positive environment for students so that they show their value and right attitude in the classroom.

Low self-esteem students will not be outstanding in class if they do not open their mind and build their self-esteem. It is impossible to ignore any of the needs for proper management or for achievers since this theory demonstrates how to effectively mobilize the enthusiasm of the people who have a positive effect. In 1959, Frederick Herzberg came up with the two-factor theory. It states that people’s job satisfaction depends on satisfaction and dissatisfaction factor (ToolsHero. For example, people who are highly paid does not mean they are satisfied with their jobs. Maslow claims taking away the dissatisfaction factor does not mean employees will be satisfied to motivate a team using motivation factors, the hygiene factors need to be taken care of first.
