Introduction The research looks into the security issues in the ATMs that are used especially in the banks. ATMs are used in the financial institutions as electronic telecommunication gadget that allows their customer to do a financial transaction. Java software can enable the invention of biometric security measure that uses biometric solution like the voice, a case where the voice is scanned to be used for the identification purpose. Methodology In conducting the research we embarked on interviews of those working in the banks and others who run ATM machines to get much knowledge on the risks they have either encountered or heard of.
