Apple manufactures and markets a variety of computers and consumer electronic products which include smart phones tablets and music players. The company located in the U.S is an example of a firm that highly outsources its materials and components from other manufacturers and assembles the parts in different countries and continents due to a number of reasons (Linden 2007). It is presumed that most components of iPhones and iPads are now manufactured in China assembling the phones there reduces the logistical challenges. Also factories in other countries like China have now experienced massive developments and become more working hours and unpaid overtime.
